THE PROPHETIC ANOINTING

We are living in a prophetic season. Jesus wants to communicate with His Church and has things He wants to say to us today. Developing our prophetic anointing comes as we develop our relationship with Jesus. As we draw aside from our busy lives and spend time with God and ask Him to speak to us, we will hear His voice more and more clearly. Prophets are able to see and hear directly from God and are divine channels that open portals in the Spirit. Their words are divinely sanctioned by God and anointed by the Holy Spirit. God has commissioned them to impart the prophetic anointing to the Body of Christ in these last days. They are called to stir up the prophetic Spirit in each believer.

Course 10

HOMILETICS

A sermon needs themes for the same reason that buildings need blue prints, or a story needs a plot, or a picture needs a centre of interest, or a sales talk needs a proposition. A sermon is means to an end. We cannot take the first step in preparation until we intelligently discern the goal to be reached. Good hunters do not fire in just any direction hoping to hit something, but first sights his game and then takes aim. A preacher who aims at nothing will hit it. We must choose a target (subject) and then take careful aim. the choice of a worthy theme is a large step toward successful sermon construction.

Major Courses (5)

Course 11

THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Jesus used the term Paraclete, meaning "Helper," to describe the Holy Spirit to His disciples. Perhaps more than any other, this name consistently describes the character of the Holy Spirit in His relationship to us prior to our conversion, at the time of our conversion and following our conversion. Certain terms for the Holy Spirit tend to emphasise His role in the salvation of individuals. Certain names and phrases ascribed to the Holy Spirit describe His work in the maturing of Christians. Other terms identify the personality of the Holy Spirit and/or describe His deity. A number of names or titles of the Holy Spirit may be viewed emblems.

Course 12

PASTORAL MINISTRY

God's shepherding care relates to all areas of life. When sheep are truly cared for they do not lack but live an abundant life. Tending sheep is work and requires alertness and diligence regarding the condition of the flock. The condition of the flock is often dependent upon the faithfulness of the shepherd. The condition of the shepherd has a great deal to do with his or her relationship with the Lord. Sheep are not like other foraging animals that will send out scouts and lead the herd to food. Sheep must be led to their food. Sheep have never been known to be able to find their way home if they are lost. They need someone to lead them back to the safety of the fold. God's people, like sheep, are in need of shepherding care.

Course 13

METHODS OF MULTIPLICATION

When Jesus first called men to follow Him, it was a call to spiritual multiplication. His last command to believers was to multiply spiritually. To meet the challenge of thousands of people who are dying in sin without the Gospel, each believer must become reproductive and learn the principles of spiritual multiplication. This course shares Biblical methods of spiritual reproduction which will enable you to multiply in obedience to God's command. You will learn how to mullitiply spiritually as an individual and corporately within the context of the local church. If you apply the Biblical principles taught in this course, you can be responsible for the multiplication of thousands of trained and motivated believers.

Course 14

POWER PRINCIPLES

The early church was born in a demonstration of the power of God, not through great public speakers or theological debate. As in the early church, there also must be a demonstration of the power of God. They do not really understand the power of the Gospel. Many ministers today are well-educated. They preach with enticing words of man's wisdom, but there is no demonstration of the Holy Spirit and power. If your faith is to stand in the power of God instead of the wisdom of man, you must experience the same flow of power, as did the early church.

Course 15

JOURNEY TO CHRISTIANITY

Christians owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to our Jewish brothers and sisters--for the lineage of our Savior; for the preservation of the Scriptures and for fidelity to the precepts of God. The restored Nation of Israel has attained worldwide focus and without a doubt is God's prophetic "time clock" for events of the present day. With an unrivaled history and irrevocable land deed--tiny Israel stands in our 21st century society as a still brave and bold "David." the astute world-watcher can readily see that David (Israel) is still being surrounded and intimidated by Goliath armies.
