Text: Galatians 4:4-7
Theme: The results of adoption into God's family.
Synopsis: Adoption is NOT the same as salvation because the latter is the initial stage while the first is the next level. As salvation connotes “son-making,” adoption equates “son-placing.” This sermon compares the Old Testament adoption with that of the New Testament. This teaching continues in Part 2.
Text: Galatians 4:4-7
Theme: The results of adoption into God's family.
Synopsis: Through the redemptive work of Jesus, adoption gives each believer full right as a son to enjoy the Father-Son relationship benefits. During the Rapture, the believers’ bodies will be resurrected to immortality. Also, God will restore the house of Israel and re-establish His covenant with them (Hebrews 8:8).
Text: 2 Samuel 9:1-13 (NIV)
Theme: God's amazing grace lifts us up to a higher ground
Synopsis: Mephibosheth’s life was a blaring proof of God’s amazing grace towards His people. But being crippled at age five wasn’t the end of it all. Later in his life, King David sought for him to show kindness and mercy by adopting him like his own son. See how David’s unconditional acceptance of Mephibosheth to his royal family indicates the Father’s intention to adopt Christians.
Text: Deuteronomy 6:2-9 (Amp)
Theme: Duties of parents to God for their children.

Further, it comes with a bonus in verse 3: … that it may be well with you and that you may increase exceedingly … in a land flowing with milk and honey. Good deal? Find out how from this sermon.
