MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:
Our eight Master's Degree streams prepare students for advanced professional competence in a church or Christian community.
PRE-REQUISITE:
Students wanting to enter Master's Degree program must have completed Bachelor Degree in Ministry Honours.
REQUIREMENT TO COMPLETE:
A thesis (18 credits)
DOCTORAL DEGREE OPPORTUNITY:
Upon completion, the Master's Degree students will be able to enter the Doctor of Ministry Degree.
ACADEMIC YEAR: Preaching Insight Christian University does not have a prescribed academic year. Students may start their studies at any time of the year.
Eight Master's Degree Streams
Master's Degree in Theology
This develops students for advanced skills in Biblical Studies, Theology and Christian ministries in preparation for significant senior leadership in the ministry; and, to construct a consistent theology based on Biblical foundations and practical implementation
Master's Degree in Ministry
This develops advanced skills in Biblical Studies, Theology and Christian ministries in preparation for significant senior leadership in the ministry; and develops leadership skills that serve the ministry needs of the local church in the twenty-first century
Master's Degree in Christian Education
This utilises insights gained from Biblical disciplines for the effective practice of Christian education in the church and the community; and, to prepare men and women to become professional educators in Christian congregations or other educational settings
Master's Degree in Christian Counseling
This formulates an integrative counseling approach, incorporating proven counseling techniques with a sound Biblical and theological understanding of the ministry of counseling; and, provides Biblical guidance, healing, and reconciliation to individuals, couples and families
Master's Degree in Prophetic Ministry
This provides the key to interpreting Bible prophecy that can be successfully applied to the 21st century Church for it's supernatural fulfilment of purpose; and, to properly interpret future events in accordance with Old Testament and New Testament prophecies
Master's Degree in Apostolic Ministry
This identifies the work of apostles as Christ's ambassadors sent to governments and nations and to raise up the church as an alternate society in every city and nation; and to understand how apostles and prophets can and must work together to extend Christ's kingdom
Master's Degree Christian Entrepreneurship
This demonstrates mastery of information by being able to define and illustrate the most essential definitions and theories in accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing; and to have an understanding that Christian entrepreneurs are already in full-time ministry
Master's Degree in Christian Leadership
To understand and develop own leadership style and philosophy of leadership and ministry based on solid theological, philosophical and leadership principles; and, to acquire an ability to lead out of the model and example of Jesus as a servant leader
